Artist’s Statement:

 

Creativity has always been an important dimension to my life.  Since retiring from public school speech therapy, watercolor has become my passion.  I love the endless challenge of watercolor.  It is fun, immediate and surprising.  Misplaced paint often leads to happy results or technique discovery.  Nature, it's colors, textures and design become my inspiration.  I find joy and reward in the constant learning process that painting provides. 

 

Ann is a member of the Farmington Art Foundation, the Visual Arts Association of Livonia and the Michigan Watercolor Society.
